MIR Specialist

Job Summary

To support the funding operations, the full-time remote MIR Specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure operational procedures are completed, manage order corrections for billing issues, and gather necessary documentation for funding packages.

Key responsibilities

• Correct and rework orders that cannot be billed or have resulted in claim denials due to missing or incorrect information
• Verify client benefits and coverage while communicating necessary information to clients
• Gather and review documentation for payer requirements, ensuring all necessary paperwork is submitted accurately

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience related to Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and processes for securing funding for Durable Medical Equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret payer guidelines and company policies
