Job Summary
Investigating potential missing waste bills, the full-time Missing Bill Research Clerk will analyze payment history, contact vendors for bill copies, and ensure timely processing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors internal email for invoices and resolves open issues by facilitating requests to appropriate departments
- Researches missing waste bills by reviewing payment history and contacting vendors to verify billing details
- Negotiates payment extensions and resolves discrepancies to avoid service interruptions for clients
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of previous telephone experience in customer service or collections preferred
- General knowledge of billing processes and practices is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to work in an office occasionally when requested
