Mississippi Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney, Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an independent case load including civil cases and eviction matters
• Conduct initial intake and analysis of files, generating strategy and budget within 24 hours
• Make court appearances and provide same-day client updates across Mississippi

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Membership in the State Bar of Mississippi; admission in other states is a plus
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
• Experience in default, mortgages, and/or creditors' rights is preferred
• Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations
