Mississippi Licensed Billing Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing medical practice, the full-time Mississippi Licensed Billing Associate will manage patient account payments, accurately code medical claims, and handle insurance verification while working remotely from Mississippi.

Key responsibilities

• Collects, posts, and manages patient account payments
• Codes medical claims and sends them electronically to insurance payers
• Handles inbound and outbound calls regarding billing and insurance inquiries

Required qualifications

• Official High School Transcripts, Diploma or Equivalency Certificate
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while handling phone calls
• CPB or other Medical Billing Certification desired, but not required
• CPC or Medical Coding Certification desired, but not required
