Job Summary
To provide clinical oversight and support to advanced practice providers, the part-time Collaborating Physician will ensure high-quality patient care through chart reviews and clinical guidance while working remotely on a contract basis in Mississippi.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure compliance and quality of care
- Participate in meetings or case reviews to discuss clinical performance and care standards
Required qualifications
- Current, active MD/DO license in Mississippi
- 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency
- Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Active practice in the state and not enrolled in the Medicare Opt-Out program
