Job Summary

To provide clinical oversight and support to advanced practice providers, the part-time Collaborating Physician will ensure high-quality patient care through chart reviews and clinical guidance while working remotely on a contract basis in Mississippi.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
• Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure compliance and quality of care
• Participate in meetings or case reviews to discuss clinical performance and care standards

Required qualifications

• Current, active MD/DO license in Mississippi
• 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency
• Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Active practice in the state and not enrolled in the Medicare Opt-Out program
