Mississippi Licensed Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Workforce Acceleration Initiative, the full-time Mississippi Licensed Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for public health, focusing on HL7 onboarding and integration while working remotely for U.S.-based candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage data systems and pipelines for HL7 provider onboarding and integration
• Configure and maintain HL7 message routing through Rhapsody, ensuring secure data delivery
• Develop onboarding guides and technical documentation while transferring knowledge to Mississippi Department of Health staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 3 years of Rhapsody integration engineering experience
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and engineering best practices
• Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes
