Job Summary
To support a growing remote team, the Mississippi Licensed Medical Insurance Specialist will verify patient information, assist with prescription benefits inquiries, and provide excellent customer service while working part-time in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient information and gather billing and medical data
- Answer inbound and perform outbound calls to assist patients with their concerns
- Operate in compliance with the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience
- At least 1 year of recent experience with medical insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology
- Must reside in Mississippi to qualify
