Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls for insurance verifications, assist patients with benefit eligibility, and document interactions while working full-time in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to verify insurance coverage for prescribed therapies
• Document call results and process patient applications to determine eligibility
• Educate patients on available insurance options and assist with navigating healthcare resources

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of recent high-level medical insurance experience
• Extensive knowledge of the US healthcare and reimbursement industry
• Experience assisting Medicare patients and navigating healthcare websites
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Strong technical skills with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs
