Job Summary
To provide essential clinical care in a virtual setting, the part-time Mississippi Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and create patient-centered treatment plans for children and adolescents.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Construct and document patient-centered treatment plans while prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Mississippi
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice
- Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
- Experience or certification in treating minors preferred
