Mississippi Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide essential clinical care in a virtual setting, the part-time Mississippi Licensed Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and create patient-centered treatment plans for children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities:

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
• Construct and document patient-centered treatment plans while prescribing and managing psychiatric medications

Required qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with relevant certification
• Unrestricted state license in Mississippi
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice
• Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
• Experience or certification in treating minors preferred
