Job Summary
To provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, the Modified Full Time (32 hrs/week) Mississippi Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician will manage direct patient care, collaborate with a care team, and participate in after-hours call schedules in a fully remote telemedicine setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management for a personal patient panel
- Develop treatment plans and offer medical management support for complex cases
- Ensure adherence to clinical documentation and participate in team-based care initiatives
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification as an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate
- Active medical license in Mississippi or an active IMLC designation
- Experience conducting telemedicine visits
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based obesity management
- Prior experience collaborating with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
