Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide virtual instruction to students in Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group virtual instruction based on students' IEPs
• Use appropriate communication methods including ASL, cued speech, or oral approaches
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families

Required Qualifications

• Current Mississippi license as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education
• 2 or more years of relevant experience, preferably in a school setting
• Proficient in ASL or other visual communication methods
• Comfortable working with digital tools and online platforms for instruction
