Missouri and Illinois Licensed Utilization Review Nurse
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse - PRN.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret diagnostic test results to determine appropriateness of patient's level of care
- Utilize Interqual Criteria to assess level of care for elective inpatient hospitalizations
- Educate medical providers on appropriate and cost-effective use of health care resources
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of staff nurse experience in a hospital setting
- 2 years of utilization review experience
- Must hold RN licenses in both Missouri and Illinois, or be in the process of obtaining the second license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing
- EPIC experience is a plus
