Missouri and Illinois Licensed Utilization Review Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret diagnostic test results to assess the appropriateness of patient care levels
• Utilize Interqual Criteria to determine the level of care for elective inpatient hospitalizations
• Educate medical providers on the effective use of health care resources

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience providing care for hospitalized patients
• 2 years of Utilization Review experience reviewing hospital admissions for medical necessity
• Must hold both Missouri and Illinois RN licenses (or be in the process of obtaining the second license)
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field
