Missouri and Kansas Licensed Cardiology Nurse

Job Summary

To support the Cardio Wellness/Hypertension clinic, the full-time Missouri and Kansas Licensed Cardiology Nurse will provide patient education, manage patient discharges, and oversee hypertension management while working a day shift with no weekends or holidays, and the potential for remote work one day a week after six months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient education and answer questions regarding prescriptions and follow-up processes
• Discharge patients from office visits and write orders as needed
• Oversee patients referred to the hypertension clinic and manage their care

Required qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri and Kansas
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Previous cardiology experience strongly preferred
• Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience
