Job Summary
Working remotely on a PRN basis, the Missouri ED Charging Specialist will accurately associate charges for evaluation and management, procedures, and other services across all emergency departments, ensuring consistent and precise charge entry.
Key responsibilities
- Queries providers and department managers for clarification to complete charging accurately
- Ensures consistent and accurate charge entry using Electronic Medical Record and financial systems
- Maintains incomplete boards and work queues necessary for the charging and billing process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Preferred: 2-5 years of relevant experience
