Missouri Licensed Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
Providing strategic legal counsel to business leaders, the full-time Missouri Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage national-level legal matters, develop solutions to regulatory requirements, and support various business functions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as primary counsel for Centene subsidiaries and various business functions, offering legal advice and support
- Develop and recommend legal structures for business opportunities, including drafting and negotiating contracts and policies
- Manage outside counsel to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality legal services
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) required; Master's Degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in corporate and/or health law required
- 1+ years of experience with complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, preferred
- Bar Admission and currently in good standing required
- Experience in highly regulated industries preferred
