Job Summary

Supporting the prior authorization request process, the full-time Missouri Licensed Authorization Specialist will assist the utilization management team in documenting authorization requests, verifying member insurance coverage, and ensuring timely adjudication for payment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Aid the utilization management team by maintaining tracking and documentation on authorizations and referrals
• Research and document necessary medical information for the authorization review process
• Verify member insurance coverage and process authorization requests in accordance with guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 - 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance preferred
• Must reside in the state of Missouri
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
