Job Summary

Seeking a Missouri Licensed Claims Adjuster, the full-time remote position will manage a high volume of medical-only workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely communication with injured workers, employers, and medical providers while adhering to statutory and company guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews new work comp insurance claims and handles minor fast-track indemnity claims under supervision
• Communicates with stakeholders to gather information, evaluate claims, and confirm coverage and compensability
• Manages medical treatment coordination, evaluates benefits, and identifies potential fraud throughout the claims process

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of general office experience or equivalent education and experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Claims industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of medical or insurance terminology preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct business with high ethical standards
