Missouri Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist, Utilization Management and Oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medication utilization among members and develop customized prior authorization criteria
• Collaborate with various departments to support strategic and operational objectives of the Pharmacy Department
• Lead and manage initiatives related to medical cost management, utilization management, and medication management

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Postgraduate training/residency required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
• Five years of experience or completion of a PGY-1/PGY-2 residency with a focus on managed care preferred
• Extensive understanding of evidence-based pharmacy practice and managed care pharmacy principles
