Job Summary

To support a dynamic specialty pharmacy team, the part-time Missouri Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will assess therapeutic appropriateness of specialty medications, provide patient-specific recommendations, and assist in the education and training of pharmacy staff, with mostly remote work after initial training and quarterly onsite commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess therapeutic appropriateness of specialty medications using clinical information from electronic health records and patient interviews
• Provide patient-specific medication recommendations ensuring safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in the education and training of pharmacy technicians, patient medication liaisons, and other pharmacy team members

Required qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
• Medication Therapy Services endorsement required within 12 months of hire
