Missouri Licensed Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auditor Coding Education & Training (Full Time) Days.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze documentation in medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
• Perform revenue audit functions and support compliance with governmental billing regulations
• Prepare reports of findings and provide education on coding practices to providers and coders

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least 5 years of coding-related experience
• Certification/Registration: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC, CPC-P, COC, CPMA, CIC, CRC, and/or CIRCC required
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM coding is required
• Experience with 3M encoder and Epic EHR is preferred
