Missouri Licensed Crisis Counselor

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate full-time Missouri Licensed Crisis Counselor, this remote position will provide crisis intervention services via the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline chat and text platforms, ensuring emotional support and safety planning for individuals in distress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention services through chat and text platforms
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans in collaboration with service users
• Document all interactions accurately and participate in ongoing quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications

• Must complete a minimum of 100 hours of crisis line training upon hire
• Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining responsive to team communication
• American Sign Language (ASL) fluency is preferred but not required
• Access to a private, secure workspace that ensures confidentiality and freedom from distractions
