Missouri Licensed Finance Director

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a healthcare facility, the full-time Missouri Licensed Finance Director will manage daily accounting, cash management, and payroll processes while preparing accurate financial reports and coordinating audits.

Key responsibilities

• Directs the preparation and analysis of internal and external financial statements in compliance with accounting principles
• Manages daily cash operations and investment strategies to optimize financial performance
• Oversees payroll processes and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a major in Accounting from a recognized institution
• CPA or MBA in Accounting is preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Experience in supervising staff and maintaining a computerized general ledger system
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer cost reports
