Missouri Licensed Fire Protection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fire Protection Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complete fire protection systems, including hazard analysis, fire alarm layouts, and smoke control analysis
• Generate plans and coordinate with other trades, providing consulting for life safety and building code compliance
• Conduct inspections, review contractor submittals, and assist in training entry-level team members

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Fire Protection Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in facility design and construction
• Active PE Registration and passed the Fire Protection portion of the NCEES PE Exam
• Familiarity with fire behavior, detection, and control methods
• Advanced knowledge of Fire Protection equipment and systems
