Job Summary

To provide essential support during critical hours, the full-time Missouri Licensed Hospice RN will deliver skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients remotely during evening and night shifts from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, ensuring compliance with state standards and physician directives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes, adhering to physician orders and state regulations
• Manage urgent patient needs primarily during evening hours, with lighter responsibilities overnight
• Maintain compliance with Mercy's mission and service standards while delivering compassionate care

Required qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Missouri
• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association
• Recent hospice or long-term care experience preferred
• Must reside within 50 miles of Mercy
