Key Responsibilities

• Accurately abstracts data elements as required
• Stays current with coding conventions, regulatory guidelines, and code updates
• Thoroughly reviews patient encounters for compliant coding and collaborates with relevant departments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of coding experience
• Certification in Area of Expertise (CCS, RHIA, or RHIT)
• No supervisory experience required
