Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Inpatient Coding Specialist (Full Time) Days.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical record documentation to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes
• Adhere to ethical coding standards and official coding guidelines
• Utilize coding classification systems and maintain knowledge of MS-DRG's, APC's, and other relevant coding metrics

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3 years of coding experience in ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding in an acute care setting
• Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC, or completion within 6 months of employment
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and/or CPT/HCPCS coding classification systems
• Preferred: A.S. or B.S. in Health Information Technology or Management
