Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Inpatient Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a coding liaison, providing education to departments and representing coding on project teams
• Facilitates coder development through training and audits
• Analyzes and resolves coding-related billing edits and denials, collaborating with leadership and customers

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of inpatient coding experience
• Certification in area of expertise (CCS, RHIA, or RHIT)
• No supervisory experience required
• Preferred experience of 5-10 years
