Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Attorney (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers' compensation litigation, focusing on settlement and assisting with discovery, trial, and appeal
• Provide legal advice to claims personnel and policyholders, and facilitate the efficient disposition of assigned cases
• Prepare legal documents, conduct research, and attend legal proceedings, including mediations and hearings

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree, licensed in Kansas and/or Missouri
• Minimum of one year of experience in trial, administrative hearings, appellate, or workers' compensation
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to attend continuing legal education seminars to maintain professional expertise
