Missouri Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

Seeking a Missouri Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician for a full-time remote position, who will provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, collaborate with a care team, and manage treatment planning and medical management for complex cases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule and ensure adherence to clinical documentation and treatment protocols
• Assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals and contribute to team-based care initiatives

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification; must be an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
• Licensed to practice and prescribe in Missouri, Alabama, or Mississippi, with multi-state practice capability preferred
• Experience conducting telemedicine visits with strong interpersonal skills
• Prior experience collaborating with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
