Missouri Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the Modified Full Time W2 Missouri Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician will provide longitudinal care for patients with obesity, collaborate with a care team, and participate in after-hours call schedules, all while working remotely for 32 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Participate in treatment planning and medical management for complex cases, ensuring quality and continuity of care
• Assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals and contribute to team-based care initiatives

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification as an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate
• Active medical license to practice in Missouri, Alabama, or Mississippi, with multi-state practice capability preferred
• Experience conducting telemedicine visits and collaborating with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
