Missouri Licensed Patient Medication Liaison

Job Summary

To support patient adherence to medications, the part-time Missouri Licensed Patient Medication Liaison will manage prescription synchronization and refills while fostering communication among patients, physicians, and pharmacy teams, with training and onboarding conducted onsite for two weeks and quarterly meetings required.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct prospective medication prior authorization services to enhance patient experience and clinic workflow
• Coordinate refill and prescription renewal requests, managing reimbursement issues and payment sources
• Facilitate effective communication between clinics, hospitals, patients, and pharmacies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Must apply for Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy prior to hire
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required within one year of employment
