Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist - Pharmacy Tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Centrally coordinate, obtain, review, and track prior authorizations for medications and home care needs
• Collaborate with various departments to complete prior authorizations as required by insurers
• Ensure timely completion of prior authorizations while maintaining strong customer service

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of customer service or pharmacy experience is required
• Preferred: At least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Preferred: Registered with Missouri State Board of Pharmacy Technician or application completed upon hire
• Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft programs
