Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional II Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Stays current with coding conventions, regulatory guidelines, and updates
• Validates and assigns diagnosis and procedure codes for professional services
• Collaborates with providers and staff to ensure coding compliance and integrity of medical records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of Pro Fee GI coding experience
• Certification in one of the following: CCA, CPC, CPC-A, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, or CCS
• Experience in coding-related billing edits and denials
• Ability to query providers for clarification or additional information
