Job Summary

A company is looking for an RN-Professional Coding & Quality Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure coding accuracy, quality assurance, compliance functions, and charge appropriateness
• Perform chart reviews to verify that medical records reflect the patient's level of service based on E/M guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify documentation and provide education and support to staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or a compact state RN license
• Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care or office setting
• Attendance at required educational seminars related to coding/reimbursement
• Must reside in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma if working from home
