Job Summary
To support a multidisciplinary team, the full-time Missouri Licensed RN Telestroke will provide evidence-based care for stroke patients via telemedicine, ensuring quality support and data collection while working remotely during weekdays.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient care for stroke patients throughout the continuum using established protocols
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality while maintaining professional accountability
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support best practices in stroke care
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent direct patient care experience in Neurology, Adult Med/Surg, or Emergency Department
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice with multi-state licensure required within 6 months of hire
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required within the first month of hire; Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) within 3 years
- Demonstrated understanding of stroke pathophysiology and special therapies
