Job Summary

A company is looking for a Securities and M&A Counsel to join their in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts and securities filings
• Manage legal due diligence processes and advise on corporate compliance and investor relations
• Provide strategic legal counsel on M&A transactions and corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active attorney license in good standing in at least one state
• 6+ years of substantive legal experience, with at least 3+ years in-house preferred
• Experience with private and public M&A transactions and strong knowledge of securities laws
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including merger and purchase agreements
