Job Summary
Responsible for managing the Threat & Vulnerability Management program, the full-time Missouri Licensed Threat Analyst will work remotely to conduct threat hunting, collaborate with security teams, and lead vulnerability research activities while maintaining knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Participates in threat hunting and penetration testing operations to detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats
- Collaborates with security teams to advise on remediation efforts and assess the organization's security posture
- Plans and manages vulnerability research activities, identifying new threats and communicating findings to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or systems administration
- Solid understanding of applications, operating systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Manager, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred
- Ability to maintain an active database of third-party assets and their vulnerability states
