Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma and EGS III Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry into the Emergency General Surgery and Trauma Registries, including injury, procedural, and ICD-10 coding
• Assist with the admission process for Trauma/Emergency General Surgery patients
• Complete and distribute scheduled registry reports and serve on the planning committee for the Trends in Trauma conference

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• ATS Registry Course Certification
• Preferred: Associate or Trade School education in a healthcare-related field
• Preferred: AAAIM Coding Course Certification and RHIA/RHIT
