Job Summary

To support a growing reinsurance practice, the full-time remote Missouri Licensed Treaty Consultant will develop, design, negotiate, and produce complex reinsurance treaties while providing drafting expertise and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and create complex reinsurance treaties, ensuring all transaction details are accurately captured
• Lead peer reviews to ensure compliance with business guidelines and legal protocols
• Coach and mentor team members while coordinating client-facing meetings and communications

Required qualifications

• Paralegal degree or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of legal, commercial contract, or document drafting experience
• 5+ years of experience in the reinsurance industry
• Advanced ability to comprehend and draft complex treaty language
• Demonstrated ability to convey legal and business terminology effectively
