Missouri Licensed Utilization Review Nurse
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret diagnostic test results to assess the appropriateness of patient care levels
- Utilize Interqual Criteria to determine the level of care for elective inpatient hospitalizations
- Educate medical providers on the appropriate and cost-effective use of healthcare resources
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- 2 years of Utilization Review experience
- Active RN license in MO or IL
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Must reside within one hour of the designated location
