ML Data Operations Lead

Job Summary

Owning the customer-facing operational lifecycle of dataset releases, the full-time ML Data Operations Lead will manage the release calendar, coordinate with ML engineers and engineering teams, and ensure timely delivery of trustworthy datasets for autonomous vehicle development in a remote or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational partner for ML engineers and internal consumers of AV datasets
• Capture and clarify dataset release requirements, including intended use cases and acceptance criteria
• Monitor production release workflows, identifying risks and coordinating resolutions with engineering teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in ML data operations or a related data-intensive operational role
• Solid understanding of the machine learning data lifecycle, from collection to consumption
• Ability to use SQL and data-analysis tools to investigate dataset contents and quality issues
• Strong customer orientation with excellent written communication skills for producing detailed documentation
