MLE Speech Recognition Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen the team, the full-time MLE Speech Recognition Engineer will design and optimize ASR models, collaborate with product managers and engineers for seamless integration, and partner with data teams to build efficient audio data pipelines, all while working remotely across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize ASR models for accurate speech recognition
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate ASR technology
• Build efficient audio data pipelines with data teams from preprocessing to model training

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in speech recognition or a closely related field
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
• Strong understanding of automatic speech recognition techniques and models
• Experience with Streaming ASR Models, such as Conformer
• Familiarity with ASR evaluation techniques and recognition improving methods
