MLE Strategy Consultant

Job Summary

To support the pilot of an Immunization Demand Generation program in Nigeria, the remote MLE Strategy Consultant will design, develop, and implement the monitoring and evaluation (MLE) system, focusing on formative research, MLE framework development, and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct formative research, including developing data collection tools and documenting findings
• Develop and finalize MLE frameworks and data collection instruments, overseeing pilot-testing and quality assurance protocols
• Implement process monitoring and produce program performance reports, including endline analysis and recommendations for program adaptation

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, public policy, or a related field
• 5 - 7 years of MLE experience in global health programs, particularly in low- and middle-income countries
• Quantitative skills with experience in sampling design, survey implementation, and data analysis (proficiency in Stata or equivalent required)
• Experience in developing data quality assessment and verification methodologies
• Ability to work independently and manage MLE workstreams with limited in-country support
