MMIC CAD/Layout Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Microelectronics Center, the full-time MMIC CAD/Layout Specialist will build and maintain layout libraries for advanced GaAs and GaN RF integrated circuits, collaborating with design engineers to ensure compliance with layout design rules and performance specifications, while potentially working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain layout libraries for rapidly evolving MMIC technologies
- Collaborate with design engineers to complete final circuit layout and verification
- Guide reticle designs through design reviews with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with layout in MMIC, mixed signal, or advanced CMOS integrated circuit processes
- Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso and DRC/LVS verification tools like Cadence Assura
- Strong communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high product mix
