Job Summary
To support the intake process for benign hematology referrals, the full-time MN Licensed Benign Hematology RN will communicate with the healthcare team to ensure continuous care for patients with non-cancerous blood disorders, while working fully remote with occasional on-site travel for meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Review patient charts and coordinate lab work and follow-up care
- Manage order processing and document communications with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care
Required qualifications
- Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- 0 to 2 years of inpatient or outpatient oncology nursing experience, or 2 years in an ambulatory or hospital care setting
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota required upon hire
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred within 2 years of hire
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days
