Job Summary
Contributing to the core libraries that power Speedtest clients, the full-time remote Mobile App/SDK Developer will design and build features for network testing, utilizing platform-specific languages and C++ for cross-platform functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SDKs for network testing functionality, including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support
- Ensure reliability, flexibility, portability, and code reuse in software solutions
- Collaborate on architecture and technology choices, integrating analytics for optimal performance of deployed code
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of software development experience with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, WebSocket)
- Experience in writing unit, integration, load, and stress tests
- Proficiency with collaborative development workflows and continuous integration practices
