Mobile App QA Specialist
Job Summary
Owning the quality assurance process for real client products, the remote Mobile App QA Specialist will conduct manual and exploratory testing, build automated coverage, and ensure readiness for release across web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end QA process, including test strategy, test cases, and release sign-off
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify functional, boundary, and negative cases
- Develop and maintain automated testing coverage using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in manual and exploratory testing in production environments
- Strong automation skills with knowledge of JavaScript or Python for maintaining tests
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it
- Experience with AI testing tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Gemini
- Ability to communicate effectively in clear written English and provide timely updates
