Job Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security's mission, the remote Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure mobile applications while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy native or cross-platform mobile applications for DHS field operations
- Ensure mobile applications adhere to strict cybersecurity standards, including data encryption and secure authentication
- Integrate mobile applications with backend systems and databases to provide actionable intelligence
Required qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 7+ years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Hands-on experience in mobile application development using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and mobile security protocols
- Demonstrated ability to develop software solutions for complex operational environments
