Experienced in leading mobile development teams, the full-time Mobile Application Engineering Manager will oversee native iOS application development using Swift, guide a mixed iOS/Android team, and drive the delivery of mission-critical mobile applications in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of mobile engineers, ensuring the successful development of offline-first mobile applications
- Collaborate with Product/PM to translate customer requirements into actionable roadmaps and deliverables
- Utilize tools like Instabug/Firebase for triaging production issues and mentoring engineers through technical challenges
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS application development using Swift
- 3+ years in a formal engineering management or technical lead role
- Experience with Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) for guiding cross-platform teams
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Familiarity with hybrid/cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native
